Kate Bowler, Special Education Needs (SEN) Primary Teacher

I am Kate Bowler, a Special Education Needs (SEN) Primary Teacher from the UK. I have particular experience with children diagnosed with Autism. I have also worked with students with a range of mental health, learning difficulties and disabilities, including Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA); Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD); Attachment Disorder; and Down’s Syndrome. I have found successful ways of working with children who display behavioural challenges by understanding their needs and communication styles.

I believe that every child is unique and that their individual needs should be met. I use a variety of targeted interventions to help children learn new skills and behaviours and to manage their challenging behaviours. I also work closely with parents and carers to ensure that they have the support they need to help their children succeed.

I am passionate about helping children with special needs reach their full potential. I believe that all children deserve to be happy and successful, and I am committed to providing them with the best possible education and support.
