Position: Special Education Teacher (Female Only)
Location: Phnom Penh
Salary: From 1,200
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Utilize various teaching methods and techniques to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for each student.
- Conduct assessments and track student progress to adjust instructional strategies as needed.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in special education.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Proven experience working with children with special needs.
- Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and inclusive teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and build positive relationships with students and families.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping children succeed.
