Pragmatics involves the social use of language, including understanding context, tone, and nonverbal cues to communicate effectively. At OrbRom Center in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, our speech therapy programs focus on developing pragmatic skills in children, especially those with autism spectrum disorder and social communication challenges. We provide tailored interventions that help children interpret social cues, engage in conversations, and build meaningful relationships. Enhancing pragmatic skills is essential for successful communication at home, school, and in the community.
