Chan Sarin is a prominent advocate for children with special needs in Cambodia, particularly those with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). He serves as the Principal of Takhmao Special Education High School in Kandal Province, where he oversees educational programs for children with ASD from kindergarten through Grade 12. Under his leadership, the school has expanded to accommodate the growing number of students, reflecting a significant increase in autism diagnoses in Cambodia. Sarin is also the President of the Cambodia Autism Network (CAN), a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with autism through advocacy, awareness, and community collaboration. His efforts have been instrumental in raising awareness about autism and advocating for better resources and training for educators and parents.
